“Thanks for showing interest in Ethos. Ethos is the High School Ministry at Real Life Ministries. We believe that every high school student in should be a part of the incredible movement of our Revolutionary Jesus. Wherever you are in your life, you have a place within this movement.
Lots of people ask what ethos means... Well, it actually is a Greek word, pronounced ˈē-ˌthäs, that translates as Character. To be exact it means the distinguishing character of a group, people, or movement.
It fits us. We are a GROUP of PEOPLE being a part of the MOVEMENT of pursuing the CHARACTER of JESUS!
We have all sorts of ways for you to join us in this movement. Jesus used a model of developing people that we do our best to follow called Discipleship. Discipleship is a process where you start and move forward as you grow until finally one day your last breathe will leave your lungs and you will get to be with Jesus, the author and perfect model of our faith!
We describe the four phases of Discipleship as Share, Connect, Minister, and Disciple.

Just so you get a basic idea of how we operate, everything we do is run through what we call our Communities. They are smaller groupings of Students and Leaders from a specific area inside our community. Right now we use the School Districting Lines as our flexible guideline. So if you would go to Coeur d’Alene High School, we have a Coeur d’Alene High School Community.
Inside these communities, we accomplish the 4 phases of Discipleship (SCMD). Sometimes all the communities are together for a huge gathering and other times it is smaller gatherings with one or two communities or even smaller of just a handful of students and one leader from the community… Hope that made sense.
